Thrive Apprentice comes with a variety of templates that you can use when building your online school.

You can edit the already existing templates, or simply create a new one from scratch. The process is fairly similar to adding or editing templates in Thrive Theme Builder, so if you have already built your site with Thrive Theme Builder then this process will be familiar to you:

One of the templates that might come in handy is the "Certificate Verification" template, that you can use when you want to allow your users to verify a course completion certificate:

You can find it in the "Template editor" section of your online school, along with the already Thrive Apprentice templates.

This is here you can edit the pre-defined existing templates, or simply create new ones from scratch. The process is fairly similar to adding or editing templates in Thrive Theme Builder, so if you have already built your site with Thrive Theme Builder then this process will be familiar to you.

Here's how you can add a new "Certificate Verification" template from the Thrive Apprentice editor:

First, hear over to your Thrive Dashboard, and access Thrive Apprentice:

Here, click on the "Design" tab:

Here, go into the "Edit design" mode of the active design:

Click on "Manage templates":

The “Templates” section that opens is where you can view the already existing templates and add new ones:

You can look up the default "Certificate Verification" template and start working on it:

If you hover over this card, you'll be able to start editing the already existing template and use the additional options available for it:

However, if you want, you can also add a new one. Here's how you can do that:

Look for the "+Add New" button and click on it:

This will open the pop-up window with the options for adding and setting up the new template:

Now you can start setting up the template:

The first thing you need to do is to name the new template. Enter the name you want in the “New Template Name” section of the pop-up:

Then, you will have to choose the content type, depending on how you would like to use this template:

Look for the "Certificate Verification" field and select it:

Next, you have the option of choosing to work from scratch on this new template, or to choose an already made design:

Use this option if you want to build your template from scratch:

The template will be added to your list and you can go ahead and access the editor as shown below:

If you decide to use a pre-defined template, then go with this option:

You will be prompted with the template library, that you can browse and select an already made design:

Your new template will be added once more to the template manager list.

Once again, access the editor using the "Edit" button. Now you are able to start adding elements to your template, if you want to customize it even further:
