You can go ahead and check out this article as well, as it explains how you can add a phone number by linking it to a "Button" element.
With Thrive, you can easily add a "Phone" button to your content to let people make contact with you. They can instantly call you on your phone by clicking on the button. Here is how to use this shortcode.
First, go to the Editor in your Dashboard and click on the ThriveShortcodes dropdown menu. Select the "Phone" shortcode:
As you click on "Phone", a new window will pop up with the following shortcode options:
1. Call to Action Text
Set a text you want to appear on the button (e.g. "Call me" ). This is what people will see when they read your post or page from their computer.
2. Mobile Call to Action Text
The text you add here will appear on the "Phone" button when your page or post is read from a mobile device.
3. Mobile Button Color
If read on mobile, the "Phone" button can have different colors. You can set the color here. The button can only have a default color in computer mode.
4. Phone Number
Add your phone number here or a number you want your visitors to call by clicking on this button.
Click on "Insert" when you are done with the settings. The "Phone" button will be added to your content and will be ready to click.
The "Phone" shortcode will look like this in the back end:
Here is an example of how the "Phone" button looks like in the front end, using the FocusBlog Theme.
Please note that in order to use the Shortcodes as they are described in this article, you have to install the "Classic Editor" plugin. Check out this article to find out more about how to install and use the plugin.
