You can easily embed a map to your content from Google Maps with Thrives.
First of all, go to the WordPress editor in your Dashboard. Click on the Thrive Themes shortcode drop down and select “GMaps”:
As you click on it, you will find a new window pop up where you can set the following options:
1. Embed Code
In this box, you need to copy the embed code of the map you wish to add.
How to Find the Embed Code?
Go to Google Maps and find the map you want to use.
In the bottom right corner, you will find a "Settings" button (marked with a wheel icon).
As you click on it, you will see a menu. Click on the "Share and embed map" option:
4. In the window that pops up, you will see two tabs: "Share link" and "Embed Map". Choose "Embed Map" and you will find the embed code right there:
Copy this code and paste to "Embed Map" in the Shortcode Options window in your Editor.
Once you have pasted the right embed code, click on "Insert". The map will be added to your content.
Here is an example of how the embedded map will look like in the front-end of your page:
Please note that in order to use the Shortcodes as they are described in this article, you have to install the "Classic Editor" plugin. Check out this article to find out more about how to install and use the plugin.
