In order to find out how you can now insert a gap or a blank space in the content, check out this article, about the "Background Section" element.
In the default WordPress editor, click on the ThriveShortCodes button and choose "Blank Space" from the drop-down menu:
On click, it will immediately insert the shortcode in your content, with a default height value of "3em". It will look like this:
This shortcode will simply add a blank space or an empty gap in your content. You can adjust the height of this gap by changing the "3em" value in the shortcode.
You can add a value either based in em, which is a measure based on the font size, or in px, which is a measure in absolute pixels.
For example, you can create a space of exactly 100 pixels by adjusting the shortcode to look like this:
The blank space shortcode is a great design element - whenever things look a bit too cramped on a page or you want to show off more of a nice background page section, simply insert some blank spaces to give your content more room to breathe.
Please note that in order to use the Shortcodes as they are described in this article, you have to install the "Classic Editor" plugin. Check out this article to find out more about how to install and use the plugin.
